Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kopp's Carsten Hansel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Selinger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Antonio Hartleitner made a huge save. Antonio Hartleitner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Hagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Hamburger FC's Edgar Selinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Hartleitner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Hartleitner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Hagen in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kopp's goalkeeper Antonio Hartleitner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Hartleitner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Hagen in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Hartleitner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omid Mitscher hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edgar Selinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Antonio Hartleitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Hagen might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Hartleitner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Hagen ran back to his position shaking his head. Omid Mitscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luis Jägel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carsten Hansel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Jägel having to interfere. Luis Jägel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsten Hansel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Kopp's Omid Mitscher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Jägel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Hagen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Hagen in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Hartleitner saved Kopp from getting behind. Edgar Selinger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Hagen to make the kick off. Hamburger FC's Edgar Selinger got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Selinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Carsten Hansel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes of play, Hamburger FC's Hans Hagen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Hartleitner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Hartleitner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Selinger in the 79th minute of the match. Antonio Hartleitner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Selinger went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Hartleitner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Hans Hagen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hamburger FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Edgar Selinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hamburger FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kopp had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
