Stephan Schindler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Damerau, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Nutzsd getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Wendelin Borkowski hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Nutzsd's Wendelin Borkowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wendelin Borkowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nutzsd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wendelin Borkowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nutzsd! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Ho heenden. Conni Buschlinger stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stephan Schindler. 1-1. If Felix Balke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Schindler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Damerau in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Ho heenden getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Benni Junginger hit a great ball. Felix Balke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maiko Bolwig having to interfere. If Kay Zielonka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maiko Bolwig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kay Zielonka in the 26th minute. Stephan Schindler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Bohmann went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kay Zielonka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Maiko Bolwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ho heenden's zone, Felix Balke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maiko Bolwig came out of the goal and Felix Balke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kay Zielonka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maiko Bolwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Kay Zielonka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maiko Bolwig, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Nutzsd's Felix Balke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maiko Bolwig. That made the score 2-2 after 44 minutes of play.
The wind increased when André Damerau made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kay Zielonka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nutzsd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kay Zielonka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maiko Bolwig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kay Zielonka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maiko Bolwig having to interfere. Raimund Theinert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maiko Bolwig having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Patrick Bamberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Schindler. Nutzsd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Bamberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 70th minute Kay Zielonka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maiko Bolwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kay Zielonka in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maiko Bolwig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Ho heenden's goal looked a bit too open when Kay Zielonka came free, but Maiko Bolwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimund Theinert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nutzsd lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
