Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Günter Weisbrod started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, Marc Becker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. APK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Becker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spike Rüdiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alan Hastedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Rabiega in the 13th minute of play forced Heidenhofen FSV's goalkeeper Alan Hastedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spike Rüdiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alan Hastedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Alan Hastedt managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when APK's Marc Becker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alan Hastedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Schiller in the 20th minute of play. When APK's Guido Schiller in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heidenhofen FSV's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Kurt Rabiega got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marc Becker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Becker might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Hastedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc Becker ran back to his position shaking his head. When Spike Rüdiger came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the APK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spike Rüdiger couldn't finish the play. Detleff Suttner came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Heidenhofen FSV's Günter Weisbrod. But to his dismay, Günter Weisbrod quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Schiller was the one to do the kick off. Marc Becker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Hastedt having to interfere. If Spike Rüdiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Hastedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Schiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spike Rüdiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Schiller in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Hastedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luis Frick fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heidenhofen FSV's protests and gave Luis Frick a yellow card for diving instead. When Marc Becker came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the APK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Becker couldn't finish the play. Alan Hastedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Becker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. APK's Detleff Suttner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save APK from getting a goal against them. Josip Küster came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Detleff Suttner could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Becker in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Hastedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. APK's Sonny Scherf got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Heidenhofen FSV getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luis Frick hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Luis Frick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Heidenhofen FSV's zone, Guido Schiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Hastedt came out of the goal and Guido Schiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. APK's Detleff Suttner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save APK from getting a goal against them.
