Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ladislaus Held started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bastian Hofstetter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kay Pliska having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Republic of Fenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislaus Held came free, but Lee Eller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Pjeter Topçiu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Kay Pliska. Pjeter Topçiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Paul Grawe could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Kay Pliska however easily saved by the left post. After 41 minutes FC AUGSBURG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bastian Hofstetter who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Republic of Fenerbahce's Bastian Hofstetter to fire away a dangerous shot which Kay Pliska despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Republic of Fenerbahce's Paul Grawe got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bastian Hofstetter was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Republic of Fenerbahce's Lee Eller got control of the ball when Stefan Flott tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lee Eller was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernhard Schiefer. 58 minutes into the match, Paul Grawe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kay Pliska. FC AUGSBURG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Grawe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Republic of Fenerbahce's attentive Paul Grawe managed to snatch the ball when Bernhard Schiefer made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute Bastian Hofstetter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Pliska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kay Pliska showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pjeter Topçiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Klaas Jan Blumentritt with Bastian Hofstetter as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Hofstetter in the 73rd minute of play forced FC AUGSBURG's goalkeeper Kay Pliska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heino Kultanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Pliska. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heino Kultanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Stefan Flott kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Kay Pliska came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Republic of Fenerbahce's Pjeter Topçiu. But to his dismay, Pjeter Topçiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lee Eller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislaus Held in the 95th minute of play.
