Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Theodor Höltgen got the match started through his kick off. Hermann Ohrem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joost Lambacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Immo Schöpf lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Oberlengsfeld:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rudi Nittel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bülent Weilbächer having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Oberlengsfeld's Hermann Ohrem got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Neuensothrieth's Oskar Voßhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bülent Weilbächer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Höltgen in the 25th minute of play forced Oberlengsfeld's goalkeeper Bülent Weilbächer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertram Hertz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joost Lambacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberlengsfeld. Aristide Schnarr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oberlengsfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willi Kerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Oskar Voßhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermann Ohrem was the one to do the kick off. Oskar Voßhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Weilbächer having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Theodor Höltgen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bülent Weilbächer. The goal made the score 0-2. Bülent Weilbächer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Nittel in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Voßhoff got free with Bülent Weilbächer in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bülent Weilbächer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Neuensothrieth's Rudi Nittel got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bülent Weilbächer was a little too slow when Theodor Höltgen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-3. Hermann Ohrem kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Sylvio Groscurth struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bülent Weilbächer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neuensothrieth. Bülent Weilbächer came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Neuensothrieth's Oskar Voßhoff. But to his dismay, Oskar Voßhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Neuensothrieth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
