After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Krister Baum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obersalwey's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Baum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Lintorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joost Hummel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Breitlinger in the 12th minute of the match. Domenico Frohwein might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Lintorf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Frohwein ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Staudenhof's zone, Domenico Frohwein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Lintorf came out of the goal and Domenico Frohwein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Giovanni Henning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 39 in the game by Domenico Frohwein from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Lintorf managed to make a qualified save. Staudenhof's players were relieved. Krister Baum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The wind increased when Domenico Frohwein made the kick off in the second half. When Björn Blank came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Obersalwey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Blank couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes, Luke Reich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staudenhof and the Obersalwey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Staudenhof got a freekick which was hit by Luke Reich. After recieving a nice pass, Obersalwey's Anton Cengiz tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emanuel Lintorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Baum, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ralf Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Lintorf. Staudenhof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Björn Blank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Krister Baum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obersalwey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Anton Cengiz fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obersalwey's protests and gave Anton Cengiz a yellow card for diving instead. Herwig Volkmer struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Joost Hummel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staudenhof. If Krister Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botho Köhler made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Obersalwey's Ralf Sachs. Ralf Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Emanuel Lintorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Lintorf came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Obersalwey's Krister Baum. But to his dismay, Krister Baum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 90 minutes, Björn Blank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obersalwey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Blank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Lintorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Baum, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Staudenhof defense, Simon Eifler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Lintorf. The Staudenhof fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Lintorf should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Obersalwey had played much better football throughout.
