Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Reichow started the match with the kick off. Björn Blank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tommy Wiedmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute Benjamin Reichow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joost Hummel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Obersalwey getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Krister Baum hit a great ball. Joost Hummel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Reichow in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Björn Blank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Wiedmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obersalwey's Domenico Frohwein got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29th play minutes Domenico Frohwein shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Wiedmann and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Björn Blank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obersalwey's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Blank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Wiedmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörg Woltering charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörg Woltering the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Sankt Annen got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Woltering. In the 42nd minute, Jan-Oliver Behn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sankt Annen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Tommy Wiedmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Frohwein, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Domenico Frohwein might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Wiedmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Frohwein ran back to his position shaking his head. If Björn Blank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sankt Annen's Tommy Wiedmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Frohwein in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Sankt Annen getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jannick Bierholz hit a great ball. Domenico Frohwein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tommy Wiedmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Wiedmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Frohwein in the 91st minute of the match. If Simon Eifler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Obersalwey players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
