Nico Gless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Glasser, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Steffen Jonas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Gless having to interfere. Matthias Kobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Thorsten Riepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bürgerhölzle's Levi Sachse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thorsten Riepe. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Sascha Derigs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bürgerhölzle's Nico Gless was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Sascha Derigs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bürgerhölzle's Özcan Schild got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sascha Derigs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Gless having to interfere. Özcan Schild received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thorsten Riepe came out and tried to block the shot, but Özcan Schild slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 92nd minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Sascha Derigs put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nico Gless. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bürgerhölzle walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
