A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Meiborssen's Per Hesse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Dressel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermann Terbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Meiborssen's zone, Pankraz Holbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erhard Krosigk came out of the goal and Pankraz Holbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pankraz Holbach was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Diepersdorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Pankraz Holbach. Hermann Bleicher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mario Dressel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pankraz Holbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhard Krosigk having to interfere. Berti Slesar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhard Krosigk having to interfere. In the 64th minute Per Hesse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Dressel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Meiborssen fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Meiborssen's Per Hesse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mario Dressel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Hesse in the 87th minute of the match. If Hermann Bleicher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meiborssen's Erhard Krosigk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankraz Holbach in the 90th minute of play. When Hermann Terbeck came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Meiborssen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermann Terbeck couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes of play, Meiborssen's Hermann Bleicher made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Dressel was left in no man's land by his defense there!
