Marcel Falke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Still, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Heiddorf FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tim-Oliver Spengler hit a great ball. A hard shot by Damir Balter from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Marian Basten's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Guido Still fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Falke having to interfere. Robert Dall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Degermenci getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Torsten Kaspar hit a great ball. Robert Dall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marian Basten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Dall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Rolf Odenbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Degermenci:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heiddorf FC:s goal. Tim-Oliver Spengler placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Albo Riestenpatt's late challenge caught a Heiddorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albo Riestenpatt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Degermenci's Albo Riestenpatt got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute Michael Schöner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Falke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Heiddorf FC's Guido Still in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Degermenci's goalie prevented a goal. Michael Schöner struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcel Falke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heiddorf FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Schöner made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Degermenci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lovis Ganz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Heiddorf FC booed when Degermenci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Clemens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Degermenci's goalkeeper Marcel Falke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Robert Dall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Basten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Odenbach in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Degermenci booed when Heiddorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Gatzke didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robert Dall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Falke was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Michael Schöner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Schöner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Heiddorf FC's Rouven Bohn suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 76 minutes into the game, Robert Dall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degermenci's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heiddorf FC the free kick.
