After having played for 3 minutes, Florian Schenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konradsreuth FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Schenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th match minute, Mönstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmuth Jokerst to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Axel Schonath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Konradsreuth FSV booed when Mönstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Briesemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mönstadt's zone, Axel Schonath stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efraim Paschmanns came out of the goal and Axel Schonath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraim Paschmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Schenk in the 15th minute of play. Florian Schenk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schenk in the 25th minute of play forced Mönstadt's goalkeeper Efraim Paschmanns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konradsreuth FSV's Axel Schonath got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Florian Schenk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Konradsreuth FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Axel Schonath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konradsreuth FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Schonath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efraim Paschmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florian Schenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Axel Schonath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florian Schenk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmuth Jokerst hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Efraim Paschmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Schonath in the 82nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Konradsreuth FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
