After having played for 20 minutes, Abdul Boller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mönstadt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdul Boller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Rainer Krumbein notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lübbecker FC's Denny Tausend. Denny Tausend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 34th minute of the match Gerd Kraus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gerd Kraus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Lübbecker FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gerd Kraus hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Abdul Boller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mönstadt's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdul Boller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Tausend breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mönstadt's Rainer Krumbein got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Boller made a kick off. Rainer Krumbein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Tausend having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Hassenrück was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lübbecker FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mönstadt the free kick. Jens-Erik Hassenrück hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Simeon Dembowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Lübbecker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Boller came free, but Denny Tausend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efraim Paschmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Dembowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denny Tausend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Boller, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Wojtek Ohme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Erik Hassenrück kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. August Dormuth, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 88th minute Abdul Boller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Tausend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Simeon Dembowsky notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mönstadt's Efraim Paschmanns. Efraim Paschmanns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simeon Dembowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Paschmanns having to interfere. Although Lübbecker FC had been in control for most of the match, Mönstadt still came away with the win.
