Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Bethge in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Klamt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in HELDEN 11's zone, Jamie Kieckbusch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Klamt came out of the goal and Jamie Kieckbusch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klemens Lunau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issey Grunewald, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Klemens Lunau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issey Grunewald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klemens Lunau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Hertel's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issey Grunewald in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klemens Lunau saved Kurdistan United from getting behind. Kurdistan United's Klemens Lunau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issey Grunewald in the 25th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Issey Grunewald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Klemens Lunau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Issey Grunewald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Klemens Lunau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issey Grunewald in the 37th minute of play forced Kurdistan United's goalkeeper Klemens Lunau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmut Böll hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Klemens Lunau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issey Grunewald in the 40th minute of the match. Issey Grunewald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, HELDEN 11's Daniel Hertel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klemens Lunau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Kurdistan United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HELDEN 11 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Bethge to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Helmut Böll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kurdistan United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HELDEN 11 the free kick. Helmut Böll hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Jamie Kieckbusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai Glaser kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Klemens Lunau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issey Grunewald in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Issey Grunewald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klemens Lunau was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Hertel got free with Klemens Lunau in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 87th minute of the match Helmut Böll completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Helmut Böll a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of HELDEN 11 booed when Kurdistan United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Böll didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes HELDEN 11 got a freekick which was hit by Issey Grunewald. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HELDEN 11 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
