The Kaltehöhe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Bortlisz should have stopped the shot. Alexander Hugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Forusan Buschkamp having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Eintracht Frankfurt's Adalbert Huppertz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingvar Bortlisz. Ingvar Bortlisz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eintracht Frankfurt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kaltehöhe.
