Denis Grützmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Woltering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niels Wendland in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Grützmann saved iZMiR SPOR from getting behind. Joost Stammann hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Arnulf Skrotzki hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Philipp Woltering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Philipp Woltering came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Harrienstedt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Woltering couldn't finish the play. If Sepp Breitlinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Melvin Buback mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harrienstedt FC and the iZMiR SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Harrienstedt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Buback to maneuver through the defense. Denis Grützmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niels Wendland's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Woltering in the 42nd minute of play forced iZMiR SPOR's goalkeeper Denis Grützmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes, Philipp Woltering mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harrienstedt FC and the iZMiR SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of iZMiR SPOR booed when Harrienstedt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Woltering didn't get a good kick on the ball. The iZMiR SPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Harrienstedt FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philipp Woltering stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Grützmann made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Niels Wendland sent off a good shot on target. Harrienstedt FC's Philipp Woltering got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Grützmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Woltering in the 69th minute of the match. iZMiR SPOR's Denis Grützmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Woltering in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Philipp Woltering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harrienstedt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Woltering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philipp Woltering recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Philipp Woltering recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Grützmann. Philipp Woltering showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Heiko Wiehle hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Harrienstedt FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Immanuel Holbach hit a great ball. Walther Finkenrath didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Sören Neipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Harrienstedt FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than iZMiR SPOR throughout the match.
