Stephan Dreßel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Philipp Ripkens managed to get in a good position for a shot. SF Shamrock 21's supporters rose to their feet, but Philipp Ripkens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunther Wortmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Deutsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Deutsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Wortmann having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Philipp Ripkens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SF Shamrock 21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Ripkens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Berlin Katze FC's zone, Sebastian Deutsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunther Wortmann came out of the goal and Sebastian Deutsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sebastian Deutsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jost Malz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. SF Shamrock 21's Philipp Ripkens got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SF Shamrock 21's Sebastian Deutsch got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Philipp Ripkens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Deutsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Wortmann having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irmin Schleiermacher made a kick off. Sebastian Deutsch scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunther Wortmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neo Thiesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irmin Schleiermacher in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Irmin Schleiermacher made a precise shot to the right of Neo Thiesen. SF Shamrock 21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sebastian Deutsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Philipp Ripkens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunther Wortmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Ripkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sebastian Deutsch came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunther Wortmann could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Philipp Ripkens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunther Wortmann. Philipp Ripkens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Gunther Wortmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Ripkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, SF Shamrock 21's goal looked a bit too open when Irmin Schleiermacher came free, but Neo Thiesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Deutsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gunther Wortmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Berlin Katze FC's Gunther Wortmann got control of the ball when Sebastian Deutsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. SF Shamrock 21 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
