Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Menzner got the match started through his kick off. Stephan Dreßel charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephan Dreßel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kanalhütte booed when Berlin Katze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Dreßel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Benjamin Selle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Wortmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Selle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunther Wortmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Menzner in the 10th minute of the match. Constantin Willmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irmin Schleiermacher in the 14th minute of play. Klaus Lange took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunther Wortmann. Berlin Katze FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gunther Wortmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Menzner in the 29th minute of the match. Benjamin Selle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Wortmann having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Benjamin Selle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanalhütte's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Selle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunther Wortmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, Berlin Katze FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Dreßel to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, Kanalhütte's Benjamin Selle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunther Wortmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gunther Wortmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Selle in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Berlin Katze FC's zone, Fernando Menzner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunther Wortmann came out of the goal and Fernando Menzner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irmin Schleiermacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Irmin Schleiermacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Willmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Kanalhütte's Benjamin Selle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunther Wortmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Menzner might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunther Wortmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Menzner ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 73 minutes, Fernando Menzner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kanalhütte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Menzner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Selle kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fernando Menzner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanalhütte's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Menzner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 88th minute, Herwig Szymanski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Berlin Katze FC's Gunther Wortmann didn't even have to move. 91 minutes into the match, Benjamin Selle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunther Wortmann. Berlin Katze FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Selle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Kanalhütte left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Berlin Katze FC.
