The supporters of lok leipzig booed when Lambsborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joscha Hermel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Panino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hagen Beil. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Mühlfort made a kick off. Hagen Beil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joscha Hermel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play, Lambsborn's Emanuele Panino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hagen Beil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico Bernstein might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 傅桦庭. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Bernstein ran back to his position shaking his head. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Bernstein couldn't finish the play. Gereon Jurgeleit charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gereon Jurgeleit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, lok leipzig's Gereon Jurgeleit got a free kick in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Lambsborn's Emanuele Panino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hagen Beil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Hagen Beil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Mühlfort, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Lambsborn's Carsten Krämer got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
