Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gavin Hammann got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Rigobert Nass cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alois Mörgenthaler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Neuenwalde's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Godenschwengen came free, but Alois Mörgenthaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Hubig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavin Hammann's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes FC Southampton got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Kern. Andrew Hubig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Hammann in the 17th minute of play. If Morris Störmsdörfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neuenwalde's Alois Mörgenthaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigobert Nass in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Morris Störmsdörfer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrew Hubig, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Southampton's zone, Morris Störmsdörfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrew Hubig came out of the goal and Morris Störmsdörfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Southampton's Gregor Fach got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Gavin Hammann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gavin Hammann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrew Hubig was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Southampton's zone, Morris Störmsdörfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrew Hubig came out of the goal and Morris Störmsdörfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigobert Nass to make the kick off. Gavin Hammann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andrew Hubig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Southampton's Leo Waibel got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Morris Störmsdörfer made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Hubig. FC Southampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. FC Southampton's Andrew Hubig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Hammann in the 67th minute of play. Gavin Hammann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andrew Hubig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrew Hubig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morris Störmsdörfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Gavin Hammann made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Hubig. FC Southampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A collision led to Neuenwalde getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Walter Rietentiet hit a great ball. Andrew Hubig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morris Störmsdörfer went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Morris Störmsdörfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Andrew Hubig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrew Hubig came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Neuenwalde's Gavin Hammann. But to his dismay, Gavin Hammann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There was no doubt that Neuenwalde were the better team. Neuenwalde's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
