Viktor Piecyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dynamo Köpenick getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fridolin Schied hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Widdershausen FjC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hansjörg Zernicke to maneuver through the defense. If Mirko Scheuerlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Bliska in the 30th minute of play forced Dynamo Köpenick's goalkeeper Josip Singer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alois Dappers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Viktor Piecyk made a huge save. Viktor Piecyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Holstiege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Piecyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alois Dappers went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mirko Scheuerlein made the kick off in the second half. Ronald Holstiege kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dynamo Köpenick's Josip Singer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamino Schneller in the 59th minute of play. Alois Dappers hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Tamino Schneller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josip Singer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Holstiege in the 64th minute of play forced Widdershausen FjC's goalkeeper Viktor Piecyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Köpenick's Christopher Schaede got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hieronymus Tempel hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Denis Wahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastian Bliska could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Josip Singer made a huge save. Mirko Scheuerlein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Piecyk having to interfere. Simon Litten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josip Singer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Holstiege in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Piecyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dynamo Köpenick's Fridolin Schied got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dynamo Köpenick's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
