Raimund Broermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Reinhold having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Peer Quack mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nienburger fc and the FC Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nienburger fc getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Peer Quack hit a great ball. Hans Diekämper kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Nienburger fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peer Quack to maneuver through the defense. Endrik Richardsen was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Klaas Bodensieck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Klaas Bodensieck really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of FC Chelsea booed when Nienburger fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peer Quack didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Eberhard Schimpf managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Eberhard Schimpf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Reinhold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eberhard Schimpf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eberhard Schimpf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Reinhold having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Nienburger fc's Damir Vogt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damir Vogt was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Hans Diekämper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nienburger fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Diekämper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Endrik Richardsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes, Peer Quack made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Chelsea's Endrik Richardsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Damir Vogt took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Endrik Richardsen. Endrik Richardsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. If Klaas Bodensieck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Endrik Richardsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damir Vogt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Chelsea's Endrik Richardsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Diekämper in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of FC Chelsea booed when Nienburger fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peer Quack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Eberhard Schimpf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Reinhold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Nienburger fc's Hans Diekämper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Endrik Richardsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
