Dirk Schulz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Endrik Richardsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endrik Richardsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Walbeck in the 38th minute of the match. Mario Brückner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eberhard Schimpf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Brückner having to make a save. Endrik Richardsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Walbeck in the 90th minute of play. Endrik Richardsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Walbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
