Tim Konermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens Keute showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Hoffmann in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Retzelfembach FSV's Thorsten Könnecke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simeon Gust narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simeon Gust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Nölting, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Retzelfembach FSV's goalkeeper Jens Keute had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Konermann. Jens Keute made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Konermann in the 20th minute. Thorsten Könnecke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klement Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jens Keute tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Larry Langhals sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simeon Gust skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute Amir Nölting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simeon Gust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amir Nölting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Retzelfembach FSV's Walter Thumerer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Kimmich FC's goalkeeper Simeon Gust had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorsten Könnecke. Kimmich FC's Simeon Gust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Nölting in the 58th minute of play. Jens Keute took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Konermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Keute having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Klement Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kimmich FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Retzelfembach FSV's Walter Thumerer got a free kick in the 71st minute. Simeon Gust was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Thumerer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 78 minute of play. Amir Nölting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simeon Gust having to interfere.
