Jens Keute showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly zum Felde, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Charly zum Felde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retzelfembach FSV's Jens Keute was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charly zum Felde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Keute having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charly zum Felde to strike the kick off in the second half. If Charly zum Felde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egenburg FSV's Niklas Lindenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egenburg FSV's Charly zum Felde got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Retzelfembach FSV getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carlos Baader hit a great ball. Charly zum Felde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Keute having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Walter Thumerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Egenburg FSV's Daniele Wendlandt to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens Keute despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Retzelfembach FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Egenburg FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
