The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When David Feix came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Remshagen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Feix couldn't finish the play. Marko Stieglmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bernt Dautzenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when David Feix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elvis Holzapfel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Weichelt in the 27th minute of play forced Remshagen FC's goalkeeper Arnd Fritschken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Elvis Holzapfel managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1 Selin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Holzapfel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnd Fritschken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnd Fritschken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Holzapfel in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valerian Funk during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Remshagen FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Valerian Funk hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Remshagen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Holzapfel came free, but Arnd Fritschken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Feix in the 46th minute of play forced 1 Selin FC's goalkeeper Bernt Dautzenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Remshagen FC were awarded a corner. Albert Danczyk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Albert Danczyk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1 Selin FC's Bernt Dautzenberg did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Feix made a kick off. 1 Selin FC's Stanislaw Weichelt got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Stieglmeier hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Arnd Fritschken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Holzapfel in the 79th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Remshagen FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Remshagen FC's Egon Ehrhard got a free kick in the 86th minute. Remshagen FC's Arnd Fritschken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Holzapfel in the 89th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Remshagen FC's goalkeeper Arnd Fritschken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislaw Weichelt. Remshagen FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1 Selin FC for a fine match.
