Otfried Reinbold hit a great ball. When Otfried Reinbold came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SV Ebnet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otfried Reinbold couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Rüttiger in the 37th minute of play forced SV Ebnet's goalkeeper Jens Holtmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens Holtmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Rüttiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Leuschner during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
