Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Eigenrieden FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ole Bierkamp came free, but Matthäus Schobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Sigurd Gödtel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eigenrieden FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beckum FSV the free kick. Matthäus Schobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole Bierkamp in the 13th minute of play. Rüdiger Eppler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Takeshi Wojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beckum FSV's Takeshi Wojewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüdiger Eppler in the 19th minute of play. If Udo Kruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Eigenrieden FSV's Udo Hecker got a free kick in the 26th minute. Matthäus Schobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Bierkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Beckum FSV's zone, Rüdiger Eppler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takeshi Wojewski came out of the goal and Rüdiger Eppler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Udo Hecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Trappmann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dragan Loewenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rüdiger Eppler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Takeshi Wojewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Utz Mende fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beckum FSV's protests and gave Utz Mende a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beckum FSV getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Utz Mende hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüdiger Eppler made a kick off. Rüdiger Eppler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Beckum FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eigenrieden FSV:s goal. When Eigenrieden FSV's Rüdiger Eppler in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80thth minute of the game Rüdiger Eppler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beckum FSV's Takeshi Wojewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rüdiger Eppler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takeshi Wojewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Hecker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takeshi Wojewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rüdiger Eppler's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rüdiger Eppler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eigenrieden FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüdiger Eppler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takeshi Wojewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eigenrieden FSV's Udo Hecker suffered a fractured collar bone after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 95 minutes into the game, Ole Bierkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
