Heinz Harms made the kick off and thus started the match. When Massoud Boll, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enrico Brand was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eckart Brennecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Oberlack having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Peter Kreuels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Heinz Harms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Brand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Peter Kreuels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Berlin 68's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eschberg the free kick. The supporters of Eschberg booed when FC Berlin 68 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Kreuels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eschberg's Nathan Rösler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Berlin 68. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinz Harms in the 20th minute of play forced FC Berlin 68's goalkeeper Enrico Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Brand was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Heinz Harms capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Heinz Harms really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Massoud Boll struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Enrico Brand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eschberg. Massoud Bolls short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Enrico Brand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th match minute, FC Berlin 68 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhard Schlesinger to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Harms in the 29th minute of play. Massoud Boll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Thomas Schreer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC Berlin 68 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Schreer couldn't finish the play. Heinz Harms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Massoud Boll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enrico Brand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Brand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinz Harms, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Heinz Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Schreer was the one to do the kick off. Enrico Brand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heinz Harms's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Heinz Harms blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrico Brand having to make a save. Massoud Boll struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Enrico Brand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eschberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heinz Harms in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Brand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Berlin 68's zone, Heinz Harms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Brand came out of the goal and Heinz Harms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heinz Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Heinz Harms elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Massoud Boll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heinz Harms in the 73rd minute of the match. Eckart Brennecke took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephan Oberlack. Stephan Oberlack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Heinz Harms's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Brand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massoud Boll in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Berlin 68's goalkeeper Enrico Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 88th minute of the match Peter Kreuels completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Peter Kreuels a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th match minute, FC Berlin 68 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kreuels to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Nathan Rösler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Berlin 68's Enrico Brand didn't even have to move. Heinz Harms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Brand having to interfere. Enrico Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massoud Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Heinz Harms came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Eschberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinz Harms couldn't finish the play. Eschberg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
