Frederik Altherr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinz Harms, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mathias Hermel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Stephan Oberlack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Massoud Boll might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederik Altherr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Massoud Boll ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Eschberg's Heinz Harms ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederik Altherr. Frederik Altherr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Christoph Zysk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederik Altherr made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Massoud Boll sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, one of Eschberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dehringhausen FC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias Hermel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eschberg's Stephan Oberlack. 1-2. Christoph Zysk kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

60 minutes into the match, Dehringhausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz Harms came free, but Frederik Altherr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederik Altherr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Massoud Boll in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Eschberg's Heinz Harms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederik Altherr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Frederik Altherr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massoud Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Heinz Harms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Altherr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heinz Harms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Altherr having to interfere. Frederik Altherr came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Eschberg's Enak Reininger. But to his dismay, Enak Reininger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heinz Harms in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederik Altherr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dehringhausen FC were furious when Lovis Maringer was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dehringhausen FC:s Frederik Altherr showed great skill when he stopped Nathan Rösler:s penalty. If Kristof Oechsner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Eschberg's Heinz Harms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederik Altherr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Frederik Altherr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Massoud Boll in the 88th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, Eschberg's Konrad Rottka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederik Altherr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eschberg reached it. Heinz Harms took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederik Altherr. Frederik Altherr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Eschberg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
