Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Blohberger started the match with the kick off. Lars Blohberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Grieshaber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Heilemann's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Drees Blank came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Flackenhorst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drees Blank couldn't finish the play. Sascha Isele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Drees Blank in the 16th minute. Helmut Köppe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Costa Grieshaber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Flackenhorst getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Berend Welz hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Helmut Köppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costa Grieshaber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Drees Blank got free with Sascha Isele in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Blohberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Blohberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sascha Isele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Lars Blohberger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sascha Isele. Lars Blohberger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Costa Grieshaber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Köppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Flackenhorst getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Harry Moll hit a great ball. 36 minutes in the game, Drees Blank fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sascha Isele having to interfere. Lars Blohberger might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sascha Isele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Blohberger ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Moll kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lukas Miner's late challenge caught a Flackenhorst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Miner helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas Miner hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Heilemann made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flackenhorst's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valerius Wiedenroth was slow to take the kick. During this time Leistadt FSV's players had a chance to rest. Costa Grieshaber made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Helmut Köppe sent off a good shot on target. Berend Welz's late challenge caught a Leistadt FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berend Welz helped the player get up and apologised. Berend Welz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Helmut Köppe struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Costa Grieshaber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leistadt FSV. After a defensive mix-up in Leistadt FSV's zone, Drees Blank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Isele came out of the goal and Drees Blank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Drees Blank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flackenhorst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sascha Isele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drees Blank in the 72nd minute of play. Leistadt FSV's Alfred Heilemann was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 79th minute, Harry Moll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Flackenhorst's zone, Helmut Köppe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costa Grieshaber came out of the goal and Helmut Köppe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sascha Isele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drees Blank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Helmut Köppe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leistadt FSV and the Flackenhorst players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Leistadt FSV got a freekick which was hit by Helmut Köppe. Helmut Köppe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Costa Grieshaber firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee ended the match the Flackenhorst players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
