Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Blömeke started the match with the kick off. Berti Harnack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiner Sommer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Klaas Blomeyer made a huge save. Sebastian Blömeke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, magdeburger sv's Peer Franz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Kuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Berti Harnack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Blomeyer having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Radim Walthermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiner Sommer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute Berti Harnack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Blomeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Zemke in the 35th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, magdeburger sv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Quast to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berti Harnack was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as magdeburger sv's Thomas Quast slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simon Kuch. That made the score 0-2 after 52 minutes of play. Knud Altesleben's late challenge caught a magdeburger sv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knud Altesleben helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rotten FC's Knud Altesleben got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lennart Freye, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The attack was good, but when Sebastian Blömeke in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Heiner Sommer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Blomeyer having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, magdeburger sv's goal looked a bit too open when Berti Harnack came free, but Klaas Blomeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaas Blomeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berti Harnack in the 73rd minute of play. Heiner Sommer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Klaas Blomeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Heiner Sommer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Blomeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Heiner Sommer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaas Blomeyer. magdeburger sv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heiner Sommer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 86th minute, Jonny Tiedemann fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 88th minute, Heiner Sommer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rotten FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Sebastian Blömeke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Simon Kuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
