When José Herber fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Paradiso's protests and gave José Herber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Paradiso getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. José Herber hit a great ball. If Franz Artmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolaus Bender charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikolaus Bender the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Nikolaus Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Drenks struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Thomas Preil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goliat Gold. Dante Görtz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Benno Heinrich sent off a good shot on target. Predrag Müllerwiebus charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Predrag Müllerwiebus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Predrag Müllerwiebus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Drenks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Thomas Preil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Görtz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Benno Heinrich sent off a good shot on target. Dante Görtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Wenning in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Goliat Gold's goal looked a bit too open when Benno Heinrich came free, but Dante Görtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Artmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Franz Artmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederik Drenks was the one to do the kick off. Goliat Gold's Dante Görtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Herber in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Goliat Gold got a penalty, and Torsten Scheewe placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Frederik Drenks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, FC Paradiso's Charles Wenning made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Görtz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Halil Hutter kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Frederik Drenks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goliat Gold's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Drenks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Preil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Paradiso's zone, Franz Artmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Preil came out of the goal and Franz Artmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederik Drenks might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Preil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederik Drenks ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Artmann in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Paradiso's goalkeeper Thomas Preil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frederik Drenks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Frederik Drenks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goliat Gold's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Drenks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Preil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goliat Gold's Hartmut Segner got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Tom Nelius in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goliat Gold's Hartmut Segner. Hartmut Segner took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Preil. Thomas Preil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Goliat Gold were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Paradiso to leave the ground with a draw.
