But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartholomäus Paul couldn't finish the play. Molkenberg's Eberhard Krone has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 18th minute. Manfred Königshaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Lukas Köddermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diyarbakır Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Köddermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Diyarbakır Spor booed when Molkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Zöllig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Diyarbakır Spor's protests and gave Konrad Andrae a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, one of Diyarbakır Spor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diyarbakır Spor. The referee gave Molkenberg a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emile Mischau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Diyarbakır Spor's Tim Gabler. 1-1. In the 76thth minute of the game Manfred Königshaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diyarbakır Spor's Tim Gabler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Molkenberg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Diyarbakır Spor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
