Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joscha Sieg made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, Pütterhöfe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf-Dieter Wölfer to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Erwin Wittlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kafatayfa's supporters rose to their feet, but Erwin Wittlich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoran Gross breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Kaltenbach charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Kaltenbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Pütterhöfe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kafatayfa:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Kafatayfa. Wilhelm Budde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zoran Gross. 0-1. In the 13th minute Clemens Potulski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Gross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Pütterhöfe's Joscha Sieg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrew Heinrichs. Andrew Heinrichs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Erwin Wittlich came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kafatayfa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Wittlich couldn't finish the play. Joscha Sieg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Heinrichs having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Kafatayfa's Deon Kunstwadl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoran Gross narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zoran Gross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Kunstwadl in the 32nd minute of the match. Erwin Wittlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zoran Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kafatayfa's Andrew Heinrichs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Kafatayfa from getting a goal against them. Sylvio Scheepers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 49 minutes, Erwin Wittlich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kafatayfa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Wittlich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Erwin Wittlich made the kick off in the second half. Zoran Gross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemens Potulski in the 60th minute of the match. Wolf-Dieter Wölfer kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Erwin Wittlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zoran Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Deon Kunstwadl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zoran Gross, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Wittlich in the 81st minute of play forced Pütterhöfe's goalkeeper Zoran Gross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erwin Wittlich in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoran Gross prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pütterhöfe getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Pirmin Suhrke hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Wittlich in the 90th minute of play forced Pütterhöfe's goalkeeper Zoran Gross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erwin Wittlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kafatayfa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
