Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, USV Ilmenau's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf-Dieter Wölfer came free, but Rainer Schätzle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pütterhöfe's Sylvio Scheepers got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joscha Sieg scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rainer Schätzle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zoran Gross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Holletschek in the 29th minute of play. Sascha Albermann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Zoran Gross skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Pütterhöfe's Joscha Sieg in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USV Ilmenau's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Pütterhöfe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Laurenz Holletschek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zoran Gross. Pütterhöfe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurenz Holletschek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of USV Ilmenau booed when Pütterhöfe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolf-Dieter Wölfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sascha Albermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurenz Holletschek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zoran Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joscha Sieg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Schätzle having to interfere. Jörg Guenther kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Joscha Sieg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rainer Schätzle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joscha Sieg in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Laurenz Holletschek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zoran Gross was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zoran Gross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Albermann in the 84th minute of play. Zoran Gross didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurenz Holletschek went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Pütterhöfe's zone, Laurenz Holletschek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zoran Gross came out of the goal and Laurenz Holletschek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunatus Ohse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
