Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Willy Welskop made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Woltemath during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, one of Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV. The goalkeeper, Bastian Splitgerber, was totally fooled by Hertha BSC Berlin's Rasmus Philipp, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Toralf Russ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Welskop, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Philipp in the 13th minute of play forced Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV's goalkeeper Bastian Splitgerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levi Wittlich's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bastian Splitgerber firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Robert Neuling took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bastian Splitgerber to make any attempt to save it. Robert Neuling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastian Splitgerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Levi Wittlich put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bastian Splitgerber. In the 34th minute, Robert Neuling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha BSC Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rasmus Philipp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Robert Neuling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Splitgerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Bastian Splitgerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Wittlich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rasmus Philipp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Neuling came free, but Bastian Splitgerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Silberhorn to maneuver through the defense. Fauerbach Bei Nidda FSV's Bastian Splitgerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Philipp in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaap Michaelis got free with Toralf Russ in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rasmus Philipp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Splitgerber having to interfere. Hertha BSC Berlin's Robert Neuling got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hertha BSC Berlin fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Hertha BSC Berlin's Levi Wittlich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felipe Bürger took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Splitgerber. Bastian Splitgerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Levi Wittlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Splitgerber having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Robert Neuling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Splitgerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hertha BSC Berlin fully deserved thier win.
