Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonhard Schlumberger made the kick off which started today's match. Ignaz Dicke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carl Graul. Bayer04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Gerbertshaus from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Maiko Krone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carl Graul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerbertshaus's Leonhard Schlumberger got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakon von Dreusche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Bock having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gerbertshaus's Maiko Krone got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Carl Graul came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gerbertshaus's Leonhard Schlumberger. But to his dismay, Leonhard Schlumberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Anton Häusling came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bayer04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Häusling couldn't finish the play. Carl Graul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maiko Krone in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Leonhard Schlumberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerbertshaus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonhard Schlumberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignaz Dicke during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 minutes Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock managed, with a little bit of luck, save Tobias Erler's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Bayer04's Tobias Erler was responsible for 1-2 with a brilliant performance in the 51st minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Edgar Bock. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anton Häusling made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Gerbertshaus got a freekick which was hit by Axel Drehmann. After 59 played minutes Bayer04 got a freekick which was hit by Loy Zion. Carl Graul was a little too slow when Babbis Vyntras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 69th minute Leonhard Schlumberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Graul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Leonhard Schlumberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerbertshaus and the Bayer04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute Stefan Lüngen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Bayer04's goalkeeper Carl Graul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonhard Schlumberger. In the 83rd minute, Ignaz Dicke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Bayer04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loy Zion to maneuver through the defense. Anton Häusling hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Gerbertshaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Vyntras to maneuver through the defense. Hakon von Dreusche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonhard Schlumberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Carl Graul made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gerbertshaus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
