Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leonhard Schlumberger made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Leonhard Schlumberger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gerbertshaus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6thth minute of the game Leonhard Schlumberger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niederschmalkalden's Marius Theuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Niederschmalkalden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Heitland to maneuver through the defense. Marius Theuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonhard Schlumberger went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Gerbertshaus getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ignaz Dicke hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Gerbertshaus's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Heitland came free, but Edgar Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Bock came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Niederschmalkalden's Patrick Brandstrup. But to his dismay, Patrick Brandstrup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Brandstrup. In the 28th minute, Leonhard Schlumberger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Theuer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Dammer in the 32nd minute of play forced Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Bock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Wissmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Marius Theuer came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gerbertshaus's Babbis Vyntras. But to his dismay, Babbis Vyntras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Brandstrup got free with Edgar Bock in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Theuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philo Schubert in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Maiko Krone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerbertshaus and the Niederschmalkalden players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gerbertshaus getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maiko Krone hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harald Heitland to make the kick off. Marius Theuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Vyntras in the 53rd minute of the match. Babbis Vyntras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marius Theuer came out and tried to block the shot, but Babbis Vyntras slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 55th minute. If Babbis Vyntras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babbis Vyntras was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leonhard Schlumberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Theuer having to interfere. If Babbis Vyntras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Renato Kubisch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Brandstrup in the 81st minute of play forced Gerbertshaus's goalkeeper Edgar Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Harald Heitland notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Gerbertshaus's Edgar Bock. Edgar Bock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marius Theuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Vyntras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babbis Vyntras succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-6. The long shot by Ignaz Dicke in the 92nd minute really tested Marius Theuer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match was over Gerbertshaus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Niederschmalkalden throughout the match.
