Diego Ernemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Vielmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When York Stenz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored stahl-rot's protests and gave York Stenz a yellow card for diving instead. York Stenz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, York Stenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Vielmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Werne Müller Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sönke Narten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 37th minute Ludwig Rossmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Ernemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Rossmann in the 44th minute of play forced stahl-rot's goalkeeper Diego Ernemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Diego Ernemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Ernemann made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Hans Vielmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Sönke Narten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jork Heidemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Ernemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Rossmann in the 85th minute of the match. Carlo Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sönke Narten, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, stahl-rot's Diego Ernemann got control of the ball when Hans Vielmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Werne Müller Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sönke Narten came free, but Carlo Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
