Roman Zenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tront in the 9th minute of play. If Roberto Lack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Lövenich FC booed when 1.FC Rumpelfüßler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Drexel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's Gerrit Neustadt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Zenner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 1.FC Rumpelfüßler booed when Lövenich FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Förster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herwig Koenecke was a little too slow when Roberto Lack got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's Herwig Koenecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Förster in the 34th minute of play. Lövenich FC's Roman Zenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Neustadt in the 36th minute of play. Maiko Stehr, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Eugen Schlagbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Leonardo Förster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herwig Koenecke was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Lack to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Eugen Schlagbauer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lövenich FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lövenich FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Gerrit Neustadt scored to the left of an out of position Roman Zenner, making the score, 4-1. Leonardo Förster hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Roman Zenner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Neustadt in the 73rd minute. When Roberto Lack fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövenich FC's protests and gave Roberto Lack a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Lövenich FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lack. Herwig Koenecke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lack, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lack came free, but Herwig Koenecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herwig Koenecke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Lack's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Lövenich FC's Nikolas Oesswein in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's goalie prevented a goal. Herwig Koenecke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lack, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Roberto Lack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Herwig Koenecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Förster in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herwig Koenecke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the 1.FC Rumpelfüßler defense, Roberto Lack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herwig Koenecke. The 1.FC Rumpelfüßler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herwig Koenecke should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lövenich FC had played much better football throughout.
