Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rainer Pohl made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, one of Lorscheid FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lorscheid FC. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Engelbrechtsmühle. Markus Volz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conni Borgmeier. 0-1. A collision led to Lorscheid FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Herwig Blunk hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Reiner Wolf notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lorscheid FC's Conni Borgmeier. Conni Borgmeier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute of the match, Herwig Blunk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elard Laux was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Herwig Blunk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elard Laux. Engelbrechtsmühle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herwig Blunk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Tim Bülow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Reiner Wolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reiner Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Mike Strehlke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lorscheid FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engelbrechtsmühle the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lorscheid FC's Mike Strehlke got a free kick in the 39th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Herwig Blunk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Elard Laux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Bülow to make the kick off. Herwig Blunk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 played minutes Engelbrechtsmühle got a freekick which was hit by Wolfgang Heinze. In the 57th match minute, Lorscheid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brix Amann to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Reiner Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engelbrechtsmühle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reiner Wolf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tim Bülow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conni Borgmeier having to interfere. Hendrik Sebastiany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Bülow in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conni Borgmeier saved Lorscheid FC from getting behind. Conni Borgmeier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reiner Wolf in the 71st minute. After 74 played minutes Lorscheid FC got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Pohl. In the 82nd minute, Engelbrechtsmühle's Tim Bülow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Conni Borgmeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reiner Wolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conni Borgmeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Bülow, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Engelbrechtsmühle's Conni Borgmeier threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tim Bülow, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Engelbrechtsmühle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lorscheid FC throughout the match.
