When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Oscar Schipper sped through Addernhausen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tino Maringer. In the 6th minute, Roland Mahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Addernhausen's Kevin Bahr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Habib Knöfel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Laack during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Philip Laack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Kieß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tino Maringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habib Knöfel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egidius Heinemann went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Egidius Heinemann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Habib Knöfel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Greizer's late challenge caught a Kelevra Boys CSC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Greizer helped the player get up and apologised. Habib Knöfel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egidius Heinemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kevin Bahr might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Habib Knöfel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Bahr ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Egidius Heinemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Knöfel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Addernhausen's Kevin Bahr got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Bahr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Knöfel having to interfere. Tino Maringer was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Oscar Schipper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Schipper really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Holger Kieß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roland Mahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Addernhausen's Tino Maringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Kieß in the 65th minute of play. If Egidius Heinemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Habib Knöfel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Kelevra Boys CSC booed when Addernhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Greizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Kelevra Boys CSC got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Schwanitz. In the 81st minute Kasimir Eberts managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Addernhausen's Tino Maringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Schipper in the 83rd minute of play. Philip Laack kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Kevin Bahr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Habib Knöfel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Addernhausen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
