Ettore Liebing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Utz Sing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Fred Pradt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Pradt in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utz Sing saved Hannover City from getting behind. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hannover City's goalkeeper Utz Sing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fred Pradt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Utz Sing made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Ettore Liebing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Utz Sing. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 98th minute, Sauerland Kickers's Ettore Liebing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The Hannover City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sauerland Kickers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
