Lysander Memmert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Keskin in the 5th minute of the match. Ralf Hubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henriko Tebbe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Hubert went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lysander Memmert made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Enrique Kaul sent off a good shot on target. Sönke Sauter hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Referinghausen's Lysander Memmert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Referinghausen from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Mirko Schüttler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Ralf Hubert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Referinghausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Hubert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralf Hubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henriko Tebbe having to interfere. Mario Eck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. Referinghausen:s Lysander Memmert showed great skill when he stopped Erhard Kaindl:s penalty. In the 46th minute, Sönke Sauter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Referinghausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Keskin was the one to do the kick off. Lysander Memmert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Keskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Referinghausen's Lysander Memmert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus-Dieter Derm in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Sönke Sauter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Henriko Tebbe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sönke Sauter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Henriko Tebbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Hering kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Niko Über received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Henriko Tebbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind TSV Dewangen's goalkeeper Henriko Tebbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Lothar Degner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSV Dewangen and the Referinghausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lothar Degner kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sönke Sauter struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Henriko Tebbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Referinghausen.
