The audience was convinced that Kasimir Radschuweit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Zacher was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the game, Leroy Abd el Farrag recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harm Hiß. A beautiful save bye Habaletta Fire's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Habaletta Fire got a freekick which was hit by Lothar Rosenbaum. Lucas Gömleksiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Zacher having to interfere. Urs Groth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Harm Hiß made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Leroy Abd el Farrag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Habaletta Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erzincanspor the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Leroy Abd el Farrag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Gömleksiz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Thomas Zacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincanspor. 30 minutes into the game, Habaletta Fire's Urs Groth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harm Hiß made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Thomas Kitzmann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harm Hiß. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 37th minute, Kasimir Radschuweit made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Zacher. Habaletta Fire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Habaletta Fire's Thomas Zacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasimir Radschuweit in the 41st minute of play. Kasimir Radschuweit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Zacher having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasimir Radschuweit in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Zacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Gömleksiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Kitzmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kasimir Radschuweit came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Erzincanspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasimir Radschuweit couldn't finish the play. In the 56thth minute of the game Kasimir Radschuweit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Habaletta Fire's Thomas Zacher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Habaletta Fire's goalkeeper Thomas Zacher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kasimir Radschuweit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Zacher having to interfere. Thomas Kitzmann charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Kitzmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Habaletta Fire's Thomas Kitzmann got a free kick in the 65th minute. Leroy Abd el Farrag got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Gömleksiz got free with Thomas Zacher in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute of the match, Kasimir Radschuweit tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomas Zacher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kasimir Radschuweit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Gömleksiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Thomas Zacher made a huge save. 84 minutes in the game, Kasimir Radschuweit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Thomas Zacher having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Lucas Gömleksiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erzincanspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Gömleksiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Zacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasimir Radschuweit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Habaletta Fire's zone, Lucas Gömleksiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Zacher came out of the goal and Lucas Gömleksiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Habaletta Fire were victorious despite being under pressure from Erzincanspor for much of the match.
