Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximilian Gül got the match started through his kick off. Niclas Bokan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talhof's goalkeeper Werner Nitzsche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Emir Röspel came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Apostol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Röspel couldn't finish the play. If Niclas Bokan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Talhof's Niclas Bokan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Wichtel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apostol's goalkeeper Björn Wichtel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Friedrich Gaitanzis charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Friedrich Gaitanzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Talhof booed when Apostol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedrich Gaitanzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jürgen Kuhlmann was the one to do the kick off. Werner Nitzsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Röspel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Talhof's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Röspel came free, but Werner Nitzsche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Talhof's Arnold Fydrich got a free kick in the 56th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eckhard Grobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Werner Nitzsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Röspel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Talhof's zone, Emir Röspel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Nitzsche came out of the goal and Emir Röspel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emir Röspel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Arnold Fydrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egon Gnant was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Apostol's Emir Röspel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Werner Nitzsche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Röspel in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Talhof booed when Apostol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhard Thölke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Apostol's Eberhard Thölke got a free kick in the 95th minute. Apostol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
