Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Louis Neumann made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Emir Röspel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Groß Schmölen's Zenobio Hofmann. Zenobio Hofmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zenobio Hofmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emir Röspel in the 7th minute of play. Emir Röspel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenobio Hofmann having to interfere. Apostol's Emir Röspel got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir Röspel in the 13th minute of play forced Groß Schmölen's goalkeeper Zenobio Hofmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Eckhard Grobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenobio Hofmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Wichtel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Louis Neumann sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Groß Schmölen's goalkeeper Zenobio Hofmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Groß Schmölen's Siegfried Cuntze to fire away a dangerous shot which Björn Wichtel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Groß Schmölen getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erich Grüger hit a great ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Gül was the one to do the kick off. Zenobio Hofmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Gül, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 81st minute, one of Apostol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apostol. Emir Röspel took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenobio Hofmann. Zenobio Hofmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Björn Wichtel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Neumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Apostol were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Groß Schmölen side.
