Helmerkamp FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1. FC Bayern-Kronach the free kick. The supporters of 1. FC Bayern-Kronach booed when Helmerkamp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Schäfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

FC Bayern-Kronach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Schlumberger to maneuver through the defense. Cornelis Kippert, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
