Wolfhard Anderheggen's late challenge caught a Nettershöfe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolfhard Anderheggen helped the player get up and apologised. Wolfhard Anderheggen hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Nettershöfe's goalkeeper Arne Grajewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Karger. Perikles Raubach came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Nettershöfe's Otmar Rusche. But to his dismay, Otmar Rusche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Düllings in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perikles Raubach saved Dörpinghausen from getting behind. Konstantin Birmes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dörpinghausen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lenny Rösch hit a great ball. If Lenny Rösch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dörpinghausen booed when Nettershöfe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcio Wetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Dörpinghausen's Lenny Rösch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Karger in the 66th minute of play forced Nettershöfe's goalkeeper Arne Grajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Grajewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arne Grajewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Karger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Lars Eberhard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Grajewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Karger in the 99th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dörpinghausen had played much better football throughout.
