The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillaume Lieckfeldt during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ecki's Guillaume Lieckfeldt got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Erik Rösch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ecki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ahos the free kick. The supporters of FC Ahos booed when FC Ecki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Rösch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Ecki's Jan Trenker got a free kick in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Ecki's Noah Meis threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xabi Brahms, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimir Wichter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Konrad Koellner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Wischmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Schäfer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Ecki's Jan Trenker got a free kick in the 35th minute. Noah Meis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabi Brahms in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, FC Ecki's Lewis Scheel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noah Meis. Noah Meis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 41st minute Laurent Polenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noah Meis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Rösch kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Lewis Scheel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noah Meis. FC Ahos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lewis Scheel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xabi Brahms to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lemmy Webber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ecki's zone, Leif Wischmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhard Schäfer came out of the goal and Leif Wischmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noah Meis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Trenker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Lemmy Webber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ahos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lemmy Webber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Vladimir Wichter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ahos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Wichter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhard Schäfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that FC Ecki were the better team. FC Ecki's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
